Monthly Drilling, Completion and Plugging Summaries
This compilation includes data regarding the processing of drilling permit applications, completion reports and plugging reports. The data are extracted by automated systems that monitor the processing of those reports.
Note that the completion and plugging figures do not reflect counts of wells completed or plugged during the reporting month, but are counts of reports processed in those areas.
The RRC provides these reports each month as they become available. All current reports are in PDF format.
