Rulemaking Adoptions for AFS Rules in Chapters 13, 14 and 15

January 28, 2021

At its open meeting on January 26, 2021, the Railroad Commission adopted three rulemakings regarding Alternative Fuels Safety rules. Adopted amendments, new rules, and repeals in Chapter 13 (CNG rules) and Chapter 14 (LNG rules) include updates to NFPA standards and other clarifying amendments. Chapter 15 (AFRED) is repealed in its entirety. The adoption notices will be published in the Friday, February 12, 2021, issue of the Texas Register. The PDF versions of the adoptions are available at the link below. The adopted amendments, new rules, and repeals will be effective February 15, 2021.
