Texas.Gov Payments General Maintenance

Notice to Operators: RRC Online Payments will be unavailable Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9:30 PM CT to 11:00 PM CT. During this time, customers using RRC applications will be unable to process online payments through Texas.gov payment services and will be redirected to a maintenance page and unable to complete payments until after the maintenance is complete.

Alternative Fuels Class and Exam Cancellation Policy Update

Effective immediately, individuals registered for a Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) alternative fuels class or exam who do not cancel their registration nor show up to the event, cannot transfer the registration fees to another event or individual. This includes registration for a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), commonly referred to as propane, class or a compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG) or LPG exam. The individual will be required to pay the fee if registering for another class or exam.

The RRC has a successful alternative fuels online training program and are offering continuing education classes. Registration is first come; first served. To register for classes, visit the RRC website at https://rrc.texas.gov/events/?p=now&d=AlternativeFuels.
