Notice to Oil and Gas Operators: Voluntary Reporting of Saltwater Disposal Well Data in Seismic Areas to the TexNet Injection Volume Reporting Tool

The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) requests that saltwater disposal well operators who have been asked to provide daily injection volume and pressure data for disposal wells in seismically active areas of Texas, use the web-based tool developed by the Bureau of Economic Geology and the TexNet Seismic Monitoring Program to submit this data.

The TexNet Injection Volume Reporting Tool was created to receive, store, and make accessible to the RRC and the public daily injection volume and pressure information. Having this information readily available to industry, academia, the public, and RRC staff will facilitate the understanding and regulation of induced seismicity in Texas.
