Inactive Well Aging Report

The Inactive Well Aging Report (“IWAR”) is a listing of wells carried on the Commission’s proration schedules. The wells included on this list are those which are considered “Inactive” under Oil & Gas Statewide Rule 14. For each well (among other information) the listing includes the “Shut-in Date”, which indicates the first month of inactivity on Commission records. Each well also includes the length of inactivity.

The IWAR data will be updated monthly, prior to the 10th day of each month.

Alternatively, you can use the IWAR Query . With the IWAR Query you will be able to search for inactive well data by operator, district, field or county (among other parameters).

(Note: Data obtained through the IWAR Query can only be downloaded if your search is restricted to a single operator. Listings based on any other parameters cannot be downloaded through the online query. See the full data download links above.)
